THE REBEL

A knight in the shining armor, she was,
Standing under the blazing sun
Her eyes burning with desire.

Like the shining silver armor she wore,
And the sharpened metal blade she held,
Her manoeuvre mirrored the passion within.

Standing on the parched grounds,
Amidst the bodies oozing blood,
Her heart flickered because of qualms.

Lifeless frames of kith and kin,
Shattered figures of mates and foes,
Crumbled her heart with agonizing pain.

Yet, the desire to dispel oppression,
Lead her through the war,
Adorning her beauty with scars.

Burning flags, fleeing oppressants,
And, the charming smiles on tormented faces,
Marked her victory, crowning glory.

******* DESIRE IS THE STARTING POINT TO ACHIEVE GREATER HEIGHTS*********

West with the night

Thundering clouds and lightening sky,
Clouding above the cities so bright,
Bestowed the west, with the ravishing night,
Unleashing the creepy inhumane creatures,
Dwelling in the darks below,
Feeding upon the innocent souls,
Diminishing the purest hearts,
Thus, drowning the west, with the night,
Forever, without a streak of light.

The Lizard

A tiny potion on the wall,
Turned the lizard to a bouncing ball.

With the tiny beaded eyes, it cried,
For it couldn't catch the tiny flies.

Round and round it went,
The frustration in him it vent.

Up and down it bounced,
As it couldn't freely pounce.

Caught in the little boy's tiny hands,
It became a toy for his naughty pranks.

High up in the air, the ball he threw,
And it landed in a place anew.

On and on the ball was passed,
Amidst the little crazy mass.

Covered with dirt it withered,
Ending up in the pile of litters.

Sadly it was the end of the tale,
Of the bouncing ball lizard without a tail.

A Night To Remember

A fresh day and a fresh start in our beautiful lives,
Journey to the evergreen forests created a thousand fireflies,
And memories that spread like infinite skies.

A walk in the broad daylight, amidst the flora widespread,
With sweats dripping from our foreheads,
Made our mind light-headed,
And our souls warm hearted.

A day away from those nagging peeps,
To a place so calm and deep,
Collecting the wooden heaps,
And resting far away from the alluring creeps,
To light the chunk of wooden chips.

As the daylight turns dark,
Marking the rise of dusk;
We set our camps,
And peek our heads out,
As the crickets chip so loud,
The cool breeze hits our crowd.

We gather around the blazing flames,
Placing our feet on the cold grass,
We nestle up against each other,
Embracing the warmth from the raging fire.

We croon to the tunes,
And dance like goons,
Round and round around the incensed inferno.

Under the canopy of twinkling stars,
And the moon shining so bright,
We devour the delicious meat.

Igniting the flaming fires,
We resume playing and singing,
Never wishing to end this campfire.

Till the dawn breaks the dark,
We stay awake covered in rugs,
Secured in each others hugs.

With heavy hearts we depart,
Imprinting memories in our mind by heart,
A night to remember,
In the month of cool November.
